1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using Mebo.live (the "Service", "Platform", or "Mebo"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

2. Nature of the Service and Peer-to-Peer Architecture

Mebo is a real-time, peer-to-peer social discovery application designed to pair users randomly for live audio, video, and text communication.

Audio and video streams are transmitted directly between connected browsers using WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) technology. Mebo does not record, intercept, or store your live audio or video streams on our central servers. All peer-to-peer interactions are ephemeral and occur in real time.

3. Strict Code of Conduct and Zero Tolerance Policy

You are solely and strictly responsible for your conduct, speech, video feed, and text messages while using the Service. You agree that you will NOT engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

• No Nudity or Sexual Conduct: Transmitting, displaying, or soliciting nudity, pornography, sexual acts, lewd gestures, or sexually suggestive material.
• No Minors or Child Endangerment: Accessing the platform as a minor or engaging in any conduct that endangers or exploits minors.
• No Non-Consensual Recording: Screen recording, capturing, photographing, broadcasting, or distributing another user's likeness, voice, or conversation without their explicit written consent.
• No Harassment or Hate Speech: Bullying, threatening, stalking, doxxing, racially vilifying, tribal slurs, religious intolerance, or intimidating other users.
• No Fraud or Scams: Financial solicitation, advance-fee fraud, crypto/forex promotion, phishing, impersonation, or deceptive commercial solicitation.
• No Automated Bots or Interference: Running unauthorized scripts, bots, virtual cameras displaying pre-recorded content, or attempting to compromise the platform infrastructure.

4. Monitoring, Reporting, and Immediate Enforcement

Mebo empowers users with immediate, 1-tap reporting controls. When a user is reported or exhibits suspicious connection patterns, Mebo reserves the right to immediately terminate the session, ban the offending device and IP address, and retain cryptographic security hashes to prevent re-entry.

In cases of criminal misconduct, illegal threats, or child endangerment, Mebo reserves the right to cooperate fully with domestic and international law enforcement agencies, including the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and INTERPOL.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. Mebo specifically disclaims any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Mebo does not guarantee that you will be matched with any particular type of user, that connections will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that other users will abide by these Terms. You interact with other users entirely at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mebo, its operators, founders, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, reputation, or emotional distress arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, or any conduct or content of any third party encountered on the Service.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mebo and its team against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your interactions on the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Mebo name, logo, software, user interface design, visual assets, and underlying code are the exclusive intellectual property of Mebo.live and its operators. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable revocable license to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.
