Mebo operates strictly as an automated, passive technical conduit providing ephemeral WebRTC signaling infrastructure. Under applicable intermediary safe harbor doctrines (including Section 230 equivalents, the Nigerian Cybercrimes Act, and international telecommunications standards):

• No Publisher Liability: Mebo is not the creator, publisher, producer, or speaker of any user-generated video, audio, text, or content transmitted through the service.
• Unedited Live Transmissions: Video and audio streams are rendered dynamically in real time without pre-broadcast screening, editorial curation, or alteration by Mebo.
• Good Faith Moderation: Our automated screening filters and user reporting workflows operate in good faith. Under no circumstances does active moderation transform Mebo into a liable publisher for unflagged user behavior.

2. Peer-to-Peer Architecture and Zero Server Storage

Once a signaling handshake is established between two matched users, video and audio streams flow directly from device to device (Peer-to-Peer) via encrypted WebRTC:

• Mebo servers do not record, tap, archive, or retain live audio or video streams.
• Ephemeral in-session text messages exist solely in temporary browser memory and are permanently wiped when either participant disconnects or clicks Next.
• Mebo possesses no technical capability to recover or replay past live video streams for users or third parties.

3. Strictly 18+ and Age Verification Disclaimer

Mebo is strictly reserved for adults aged 18 and older. Minors are completely prohibited from accessing or using the platform.

While Mebo requires all visitors to certify legal majority prior to entering chat streams, Mebo cannot independently verify the legal identity or government-issued credentials of anonymous visitors. Parents and legal guardians remain exclusively responsible for monitoring minor device activity and installing parental filtering controls. Mebo disclaims all liability arising from unauthorized minor access.

4. Complete Disclaimer of Warranties

THE MEBO PLATFORM, SERVICES, SIGNALING NETWORKS, AND RELATED SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, MEBO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Warranties that the service will be continuous, uninterrupted, secure, or free from latency, technical defects, or bugs.
• Warranties regarding the conduct, character, identity, veracity, intentions, or safety of any user encountered on the platform.
• Warranties that defamatory, unlawful, harassment, or explicit material will be detected or eliminated prior to user viewing.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MEBO, ITS OPERATORS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER.

This limitation covers damages arising from:

• Conduct, content, statements, or representations of any third-party user on the service.
• Emotional distress, personal injury, property damage, or reputational harm resulting from connections made on Mebo.
• Unauthorized access, screen captures, recording, or distribution executed by external users in violation of platform rules.
• Service interruptions, network failures, or technical downtime.

Because Mebo is provided free of charge, the aggregate financial liability of Mebo for any claim arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed zero United States Dollars ($0.00) or fifty Nigerian Naira (NGN 50.00).

6. Off-Platform Interactions and Personal Security

Mebo strictly warns all users against sharing personal identifying details (such as real names, home addresses, phone numbers, banking details, or social media handles) with strangers. Mebo possesses no oversight of or liability for off-platform communications, physical meetings, financial remittances, or agreements conducted outside the Mebo browser window.
